How long should I leave my hair to grow for my first wax?
For the very best results, we recommend 4/5 weeks growth for intimate and 5/6 weeks growth for legs to ensure all hair is long enough for the wax to remove, giving you a longer hair-free time after your wax. The same applies if you use hair removal cream. If your hair is the same length as a long grain of rice, it’s perfect.
We understand how difficult it is to leave previously shaved hair to grow out, but we promise you, it’s for the best when it comes to your waxing results!
How long will the wax last?
If you have left the hair to grow for 4 weeks, you will get a couple of weeks hair free before you start to see any regrowth, which will be minimal compared with shaving. You won’t feel the regrowth coming through and won’t feel like you need waxed for another couple of weeks (week 4).
After your very first wax you may see regrowth sooner but after your second, third wax with us your hair will be in the correct regrowth cycle to get a couple of weeks hair free from each treatment.
Is there anything I should do prior to my first treatment?
We recommend Perron Rigot Double Scrub for this, you can pop into any of the salons for some if you want to kick start your homecare before waxing. Other than that, we need you to leave the hair to come through, no shaving, no trimming!
Am I allowed to keep my underwear on when getting my wax?
It’s the only way to ensure the very best wax with no stragglers being left. It also makes the treatment quicker and less messy. Don’t stress, when we say we have seen it all, we mean it!
Is there anything I CAN’T do immediately after having my wax?
We also recommend that you DO NOT use any creams or products on the area for this time unless we have recommended our post-wax products to you, in which you can use as directed by us.
We always complete your wax treatment with post-wax product we deem suitable for your particular skin type. This will be enough to help soothe the skin and keep reactions down to a minimum if aftercare instructions are followed properly.

How can I prevent being embarrassed?
It’s natural to feel slightly embarrassed at the thought of dropping your pants for a stranger, you just need to remember we are PROFESSIONALS. We see more genitals than the average person would care to think about. We are only looking at the hair that is to be removed, then removing it. Just like Doctors/Nurses, it’s just part of the job.
I have been waxed before and had a bad experience, how will you be different?
When our waxers first start at Peaches, they are not allowed to wax clients until they have been through the meticulous training with Queen Peach herself. Thereafter, each waxer receives ongoing training to ensure they do not pick up ANY bad habits whatsoever. Each waxer is as meticulous as Queen Peach, if not, she picks up on it before you will and sorts it right away!
