Does the hair grow back thicker or stubbly?
No, it grows back as soft as it always was, you will not feel the hair growing back.
Is Dermaplaning sore?
No, not in the slightest.
How many treatments until you see results?
You will see results immediately after the first treatment.
Do I need to take my makeup off before the treatment?
We recommend you do to get the best results. We do have cleanser to do this however it’s most effective on already bare skin.
How often can I have the treatment?
We recommend monthly.
How long before my holiday can I get Dermaplaning?
We recommend 2 weeks.
Can I have this treatment when I'm pregnant?
Yes, it is perfectly safe while pregnant
Do I need to do anything before the treatment to prepare?
You must not have used any products containing Salicylic Acid or Glycolic acid in the 3 days previous to your treatment. You must also not have had any chemical peels within a month of Dermaplaning.
Can I have this treatment if I have acne?
If you have active acne or are on Roaccutane you will not be able to have the treatment however if you have old acne scarring then it is still possible to have Dermaplaning done.
Can I have dermaplaning if I use sun beds
We would advise our clients to not use sunbeds for 2 weeks prior to having their dermaplaning treatment and to refrain from using them for 2 weeks after. This would also apply to being in contact with direct sunlight. Dermaplaning removes the dead skin cells that acts as a barrier, skin that has been exposed to sunbeds may react differently. The skin can be over sensitised due to the heat and therefore cause more damage and will not achieve desired results.
Can I bring my children with me?
We understand that it isn’t always possible to escape and leave the kids at home, so it is totally fine to bring them along with you.
What is your cancellation policy?
At Peaches we have a 24hour cancellation policy should you need to cancel or change your appointment.
Booked in Salon/Over the phone: Where a deposit has been paid – if you cannot give 24 hours notice to cancel or change the appointment, then the deposit previously paid will no longer be valid towards a future appointment.
Booked Online/App: If you cannot give 24hours notice to cancel or change your appointment – the card the booking was made with will be charged at the total cost of the treatment you were booked in for.
In a first instance, as a one-off gesture (pending the charge goes through successfully and providing you show for next appointment) your next appointment will be free of charge. Our booking system will only allow us to honour this one time, so please do let us know in advance of 24hours where you can if you are unable to make your original appointment.
